Viessmann Vitorond 100, VR1-33, Cast Iron, Oil Fired Boiler, Riello F5 Burner, Aquastat - 140,000 BTU Viessmann offers a genuine triple pass boiler with their Vitorond series of hot water boilers. The Vitorond uses a triple pass cast iron heat exchanger to extract every last bit of energy out of the fuel supply, achieving an AFUE of 86.9%. This heat exchanger is extremely durable, making sure that the Vitorond will almost never have to be serviced. The Vitorond comes supplied with a Riello or Beckett burner, both of which offer extremely efficient and clean combustion. Thick 3.5 inch insulation coats the insides of the boiler, ensuring minimal standby heat loss. The Vitorond can be used with a direct vent option or chimney venting, making installation prep a snap. The boiler is also compatible with Viessmann's Vitotronic control system, a set of boiler controls designed specifically to reduce energy costs.
